My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I`m in a FOSTER HOME! If you would like to set up a time to meet with me, please email my foster parent at hinderdaelk@gmail.com

Check out her IG @dchomebound for more great pics.

Lovely Lolita is AMAZING! She is just about doggie perfection, and she can be yours. Lolita gives the best soggy doggie kisses. You will not find a more loving or affectionate pooch. And did you see how cute she is? From her boopable sniffy snout to the tip of her perpetually waggy tail, she is pure sweetness. Lolita is doing wonderfully in her foster home. She LOVES getting belly rubs and playing fetch and going for long walks. She is really a joy to be with as cuddling is one of her specialties. Lolita is also a very good nanny dog as she loves to wake up the kids and get the day rolling. This gorgeous gal has a zest for living and she is very good at getting everyone involved. She is extremely tolerant, gentle, and trainable. Not only does her foster love her, but another volunteer at the shelter said, `My goodness!! How has no one snatched this sweet lady up already!? She is sooooo polite with loose leash walks. She loves some fetch followed by cuddles! Oh, and she gives the sweetest, happiest smiles whenever she sees you!` Seriously, she is one fantastic doggie. Lolita needs to be the only pet in the house but she`s all the pet you need! Please meet this VERY GOOD GIRL soon.

More about this shelter

At the Humane Rescue Alliance, we honor more than 150 years of commitment to protecting animals, supporting families, and advocating for positive change to create a world where all animals can thrive. HRA serves as a national leader and local champion for all animals.

With a people-focused, community-based approach, we treat every animal as an individual and emphasize specialized care for both animals and their families. Through our two campuses in the District of Columbia and New Jersey, we are the largest animal services provider in our region – touching the lives of tens of thousands of animals annually through direct rescue, care, and community-based services. Our teams find solutions to both small and big problems, from providing direct care to an animal in crisis to tackling systemic barriers to affordable, pet-friendly housing.
