My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tchotchke is typical tuxedo hooligan.  She was rescued by a Windsor Kittens volunteer in September 2023, which is also her birth month. She is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated, including rabies .

Tchotchke loves perching on shoulders and playing with everything. She is an outgoing and full of life. She loves to get a little feisty and jump on her stuffed toys and chase your ankles. She will greet you at the door, follow you around and be a part of everything you do.

Tchotchke prefers to save her snuggles and affection for when shes nice and tired. She will then hang on your shoulder or curl up in your lap, opening up that little motor of hers. Tchotchke enjoys her dog friends but can be cautious with anyone new. She generally will meet new people but will avoids pets until she's more comfortable. This petite little girl is constant entertainment and will keep everyone on their toes with her antics.

Playdates will only be scheduled for approved applicants to protect the safety of our cats and foster families. Adoptions are matched based on best fit, not who applied for a particular cat first. Adoptions are not considered finalized until an adoption contract has been completed and the adoption fee has been paid to Windsor Kittens.

More about this rescue

Windsor Kittens got its start in 2022 when four women in the Windsor Park neighborhood of east Charlotte, NC came together to address the large number of community cats in their area. Since then, this grassroots organization has expanded its efforts to rescue more cats for adoption and help greater numbers of community cats through trap-spay/neuter-vaccinate-release (TNR). Windsor Kittens loves helping cats find their forever homes.
