Meet Sky! Age: 4 Weight: 65lbs
Sky is a happy-go-lucky Husky who wants nothing more than to be adored by her human family. She is a cheerful, lighthearted pup with ALL the friendly vibes towards people, kids, and other dogs. Sky is the kind of dog who is in heaven when she's surrounded by her humans petting, loving, and talking to her. She wants to be a part of everything you do - especially when it involves exercise and affection. Huskies generally need quite a bit of physical activity, but Sky has activity limitations right now during heartworm treatment, which the shelter will provide (even if she's adopted) until finished. Once her HW treatment is complete, Sky needs daily exercise, activity, and play to meet her high-energy needs. Sky - like other dogs bred to do a specific job - also wants to use her brain; fun games and training time will give her the outlet to use those Husky skills. If you know Husky vocals, you'll understand why Sky cannot be adopted into an apartment home where she might annoy the neighbors!
