My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there Liza,
Are you ready to find a forever home that you are so deserving of? Well now is your time to shine! You are the sweetest little black and tan Chi with eyes that speak volumes. Those golden-brown peepers just want to be loved and comforted. You will do great in your new home. All you need is a few short strolls a day, some TLC, and a nice cozy sofa to relax on. Oh yeah girl we heard you were a couch potato. Don't worry, potatoes are addictive and quite enjoyable. Just like we know you are!
Sincerely,
Everyone who loves you and is rooting for your new beginning!

Here's some notes from her foster:

Soulful eyes, sweetest temperament, softest coat. Liza is a beautiful, affectionate mutt who very much wants a family to love and care for her. She is so easy to please. She bonded easily with us, follows directions, and is acclimating to our house and family and friends easily. Including our two dogs! Unsure about cats though.

She does not like to walk on a leash, but, she loves outside. Once I leash up my dogs she comes running! She lays in the sun and basks the day away.

Liza loves car rides, and is well behaved in the car.

She is potty trained, she just needs a routine! She can manage stairs very well, inside and outside door steps. She learned quickly which way to get back into the house.

Liza is a great dog, who would be a great addition to any family.

More about this rescue

Muttville is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to improving the lives of senior dogs. On a local level, Muttville rescues senior dogs and finds them foster homes or gives them hospice. On a global level, Muttville provides information about caring for older dogs and support for people who do.

Through associations with shelters and other animal organizations, Muttville finds senior dogs that have been given up and are not likely to find adopted homes. Through outreach and networking, Muttville finds suitable foster homes for these dogs. Ultimately, Muttville will have its own facility to house dogs that are not yet placed, or that are unlikely to be placed.
