My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

• This handsome SENIOR tabby is Maxim – we’ve talked about him before!
• He came to the HSYC from Animal Control 6 months ago!
• He is Mr. adventurous.
• He loves to be free inside the rescue scoping out all the fun to be had!
• We estimate Maxim to be about 8.5 years old.
• He enjoys playing, running and just being out of his cage.
• Maxim is a very active boy & would be a great addition to any family adding love, activity, entertainment and affection to your world.
• This handsome boy was pulled from Animal Control and unfortunately tested FIV+ (an auto immune deficiency).
• Some details about FIV+ felines:
 FIV kitter kats can live with other cats who don't have FIV as long as they get along and don't fight, causing bite wounds
 FIV cannot be transmitted to humans or other non-feline animals.
• Like all our pets, Maxim is neutered, vaccinated, micro chipped and tested.
• If Maxim’s story grabs at your heartstring, call today to make an appointment 803-802-0902.If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment.
