My name is Hopkins!

Hopkins is a friendly boy who loves exploring the world, naps, giving kisses, and cheese. He is equal parts adventurer and homebody; he does great on long walks/hikes, and excels at taking long naps. He likes going to parks to nibble on the grass, saying hi to people and dogs on walks, peanut butter, head and butt scratches, playing tug, and hanging out with you when we are home. He does not like getting wet, but he tolerates getting groomed. He likes to show he loves you by giving a kiss or cuddling up next to you.

I am seeking to rehome Hopkins to an experienced owner who has the resources and time to work with a trainer to address resource-guarding behavior. He has made a lot of progress but requires professional help that I unfortunately cannot afford. He would do best in a home with an experienced owner and without other dogs or children until his resource guarding is fixed.
