My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Twix is ready to review your application to take her home!!

Twix is a female Rat Terrier who is approx 2 years old and weighs 13 pounds. While we know very little about her background, she has adapted to home life just fine. She LOVES human contact and is the best little companion around town! Twix is really pretty chill, she is digging car rides, walks, and anything else you want to do! She is comfortable with a crate as she will stroll in on her own for a little snooze during her busy play days. She interacts well children and dogs; not a huge fan of flies as she is determined to catch any that cross her path! Twix is also doing great with potty! Take her out and she will take care of business!!!

She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.

Twix is asking you contact her Foster mom asap to discuss Twix’s wit, charm, and cuddle skills. She is ready for her forever home.
Adoption fee of $450 is required.

Twix is being fostered in Lindenhurst IL. Please reach out to Jill Clark in FB messenger, or jilljclark20@gmail.com, or 847-772-2098.

More about this rescue

Tiny Paws Small Dog Rescue was born out of my love for small dogs and desire to help those in need, and in memory of the loss of a dear family member. Dealing frequently with small breed puppies and retired breeder moms, we strive to find homes that are aware of the commitment to raising a small breed dog and to the patience needed in socializing and housebreaking a retired breeder mom who has no idea what life in a home is all about. We are foster home based and are always looking for new foster homes to help us continue our love of rescuing dogs in need. We are happy to assist in owner surrender placements, especially those in need of surrendering their small dogs due to financial hardships, loss of a loved one, or dog owner entering assisted living facilities or nursing homes. We pride ourselves with a thorough search for that perfect home for a dog in need and follow up with phone calls to ensure things are going well. Tiny Paws will take back an adopted dog should the need arise within a reasonable notice and an available foster home has an open spot. Our goal is to someday own a building to house even more canine companions in need. We look forward to helping you find your family pet.
