My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gracie is learning voice and hand signal for stay, doing real well on sit, and beginning to sit and wait for an ok before diving into her food bowl. I can take and give back her food bowl with no problem or aggression. She does well with her collar and walking on leash, but also does well off leash in the yard with voice command.

Gracie voluntarily goes into her open crate for a nap. She is much less resistant than at first when put in for the night. Within a few minutes, she quiets down for the night.

She enjoys tussling and chasing with my toy poodle. She loves chewing on plastic bone toys. She’s learning to leave my shoes and papers alone.

She’s very happy, loyal, attentive, and wants to please.

Things are going quite well and she would love a home with a sibling to play with whether that sibling is human or four-legged.

We, at Deep South Canine Rescue, love our fur babies more than anything on this earth. Day in and day out we bend over backwards making sure they have anything and everything their hearts desire and to make sure they're ready for a forever home. In return, we get more love than most people get in a lifetime. Rescue work is hard, it takes a team of very passionate and committed people. It is a lifestyle that requires you to make sacrifices for the good of the pups, and we never think twice. As long as our babies are healthy & happy, we are happy.
