My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We adopted Chloe from Chula Vista Animal Shelter 2 years ago, after she had been there over a year waiting for a home.
Unfortunately, even after trying for 2 years, we can not get our dog to accept having a cat in the house. Our dog is aggressive towards her, so Chloe has to live in our spare room, to keep her safe.

Chloe is a very sweet and affectionate cat and loves attention. She is happy to be picked up, and will roll on her back for a belly rub. She is a little timid at first, but comes around quickly. She will do better with older children, as she doesn't like rough play. Chloe is 15 years old, but still likes to have fun playing with the occasional toy, and to walk around and explore. She also likes to snuggle up and take lots of naps!

We are sad to be putting Chloe up for adoption, but we feel that it isn't fair to her to have to be kept separate from us for most of the day. She is very scared of our dog, and we hope she can find a home where she can finally relax.
