My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you looking for a girlie to be your best friend and make all of your days better? You've found her! My name is Nica and both of our lives are about to get a whole lot better. I love getting pets, being pampered and you guessed it- being the center of attention. I'm good at making friends, no matter their species, and can't wait to have a family of my own and a spot saved just for me on the couch. Let's become besties!

More about this rescue

Located in beautiful north central Wisconsin, we have a beautiful new facility and dog walking trails. We are a full service, unlimited admissionhumane society shelter contracted with the county to house all stray animals. We believe in the humane and ethical treatment of all living creatures, and promote these beliefs in our actions and educational outreach programs. We work with rescue groups, volunteers, and the public to promote sterilization of companion pets and "forever" homes. All dogs, cats and rabbits are sterilized before adoption or have a scheduled appointment at a time determined by veterinary staff.
