We rescued Henry off the streets towards end of last year and he has really transformed into a playful active lovable 1 year old dog that loves cuddles on the couch and playing fetch in the yard. He's settled in nicely with 2 other dogs and a 4-year old child.
While we have truly fallen in love with him, we unfortunately are not able to keep him after all. He has received all his shots and we've neutered him. He knows sit, working on leave it and stay, is potty trained, has never shown interest in tearing up furniture... he's a really smart, sweet, loyal dog.
We suspect that his former life wasn't that great - he was malnourished when we found him at 6 months and he has scars all over his body. He needs some getting used to new surroundings and shows a lot of anxiety. It took us two months to have him trust us but once he did he was quite the love bug! He has been great with the vet, cautious during walks, but with the right training he'll blossom!
