Slinky (2yr) is a lovely dog but unfortunately he was just not right for our family. He is a very active dog that requires a lot of attention and exercise so we've been struggling with meeting his mental/physical needs. I didn't socialize him correctly as a puppy so we've been struggling with his excessive barking at everything. I'm hoping in finding someone that is patient and will be able to provide him training and be able to work on his problems. He barks at any person/dog he sees. I'm not sure how exactly he is with other dogs as the only one he's been around other than in passing has been my sister's dog and it took a couple visits before he was comfortable with them. He tends to jump up on people a lot and when he's over excited he gets nippy/mouthy so I'd rather he go to a kid-free home. He's vocal and scared of things which he'll let you know. I unfortunately cannot afford training but I 100% believe that with training and the appropriate exercise he'd be an amazing dog.
