My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chamomile the captivating terrier is a mobile museum of scruff. Small as she may be, she happens to have on her spry little body a set of soaring brows, many lush curls, a tidy beard, tri-color ears, an extravagant ruff, and a full body mohawk. And she's just as sweet as her hairdo is boss. She travels on tiny feet, tiptoeing her way into every opportunity to pal around with dogs and people. She may not see as well as she used to, but that doesn't stop her from spreading the love and getting what she needs, which is to sit in your lap.

Here's some notes from her foster:

Chamomile is a beautiful and sweet terrier full of scruff. She has been a bit shy and timid but after a few days she is coming out of her shell. She is not a barker. She likes to follow you around and be in the same room most of the time. She likes to go on walks she really enjoys and getting used to navigating the outdoors.

She has been very reliable in using her potty pads. She likes car rides and hasn't shown any signs of separation anxiety when left alone. She can handle a few stairs and uses the doggie ramp to get on the couch, that is her favorite place to sleep. Day by day this little girl is showing more and more personality. She is pretty mellow and easy, we tell her everyday how beautiful she is.

More about this rescue

Muttville is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to improving the lives of senior dogs. On a local level, Muttville rescues senior dogs and finds them foster homes or gives them hospice. On a global level, Muttville provides information about caring for older dogs and support for people who do.

Through associations with shelters and other animal organizations, Muttville finds senior dogs that have been given up and are not likely to find adopted homes. Through outreach and networking, Muttville finds suitable foster homes for these dogs. Ultimately, Muttville will have its own facility to house dogs that are not yet placed, or that are unlikely to be placed.
