Kim is a cutie pie! She's a Labrador retriever mix and she and her sisters have been a hoot to watch ever since they came into the rescue. Kim is beautiful with white fur, black spots, and gorgeous blue eyes. Not unlike other white animals with blue eyes, we are going to have her evaluated because we believe she is deaf. But, let me tell you, that will not stop her. She's smart and would easily learn doggy sign language. She's fun-loving and very affectionate. She would be great for a family with kids.

We require potential adopters to fill out an application, and a home check is also part of the process. We look at each dog and each adopter on an individual basis and work to create a lasting and forever bond. All companion animals must be spayed or neutered, UTD on vaccinations, and on heartworm preventative. Our adoption fee is $250 unless otherwise noted.

Ruff Love was founded by Sue Rogers in response to the overwhelming numbers of abandoned dogs in the Randolph County/Davidson County area. Over time, we have developed a network of volunteers and foster homes. Our rescue efforts are geared toward dogs. We are a 501(c)(3)non-profit organization so all donations to us are tax deductible. Currently, we are caring for over 100 dogs in our program, and almost 70 are adoptable. Most of the dogs that are not up for adoption are either old or are suffering from chronic health conditions. They will live out their days well cared for and comfortable in with Ruff Love Rescue.
