My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ZIGGY & PEPE

Two sweet boys seek loving home!  Requirements:  Love; Warm Lap to Sit on;  Toys to Play with; Indoor Only Home!

Ziggy is a handsome short hair orange kitty who we estimate to be about 2 years old.  He lost a couple inches off the end of his tail at some point in time; how, we don’t know.  He was an unclaimed stray whose finder made sure he was placed into the safe arms of rescue.   Ziggy’s foster mom says he’s a loving, sweet lap kitty!  He is BFF with Pepe, who he adores, along with his people!   With proper introduction he gets along with nice cats.  We guess he’d do well with older, respectful children.  He will do fine with calm and mellow dogs.   He has great litter box habits, and knows what a scratching post is all about.   He’s just a sweetheart of a guy!

Pepe is a beautiful buff colored kitty with short hair.   Pepe is 1 year old, and also is an affectionate and sweet kitty!  He came from a home with too many cats, so the former owners did the right thing and found a safe rescue for him to go to.   Pepe’s BFF is Ziggy, who he loves to play with and hang out with, along with his favorite people!   With proper introduction he does fine with nice cats.  We think he’d do fine with older, respectful children as well.    Pepe should do fine with calm and mellow dogs.   He has great litter box habits and also uses a scratching post!  He’s such a sweet kitty!

Ziggy and Pepe both eat primarily wet food, along with some dry cat food.  They are sweet boys who have so much love to give!  They love to wrestle and play with each other and really love to play with feather toys and chase balls!   Both are neutered, up to date on vaccines, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.  As with all cats, there is no declawing allowed for these boys.

For more information please contact their foster mom at (612) 247-7463.  Please do not contact Furball Farm, as the boys are in foster care.   Thank you!   We can’t wait for you to meet them!   They’re the best!!!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our goal is to be a sanctuary for cats who are not adoptable and to find loving homes for those who are. We welcome you to visit our sanctuary to snuggle with our furballs. You may even end up going home with one...or two!!! Adoption fees vary from $50.00 to 150.00.

You always need to remember our cats come with baggage. Lots of them were treated badly by people and it has taken time for them to trust us. They may need to come out of their shells once you adopt them. You need to give them time to see you are not going to hurt them. We love our Furballs and want good homes for all of them. Please remember it is all about the cats for us.

We only adopt out our Furballs to people within 2-3 hours of our sanctuary because of the baggage they come with. This does not include some of the cats in foster care (contact their foster parents for more information).
