My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Stunning Sola! 🌸 The Kaleidoscope-Eyed Wonder! 🌟🐾 !

At just 6 months old and weighing in at a charming 33 pounds, Sola is not your average pup – she's a proud Siberian Husky mix with a personality as vibrant as her uniquely mesmerizing chameleon-colored eyes! 🤩💖

Prepare to be smitten! 💖💖💖

Despite her youthful exuberance, Sola is more chill than energetic, especially for a husky puppy and she is an absolute dream.💝 Sola’s gorgeous eyes, glowing smile and her beautifully marked soft collared coat that's so perfect for snuggling will forever melt your heart and make you fall in love with her instantly!😍

Sola is a captivating little girl!❤️ 🥰 She is at the stage in her life where she’s ready to explore the world and create lifelong bonds with a loving family. 🥰 Her boundless enthusiasm is infectious, and she'll undoubtedly bring a smile to your face every day.😍

Precious girl not only has a gorgeous look, she also has the sweetest most affectionate, kind and loving nature. Sola is incredibly gentle puppy-girl. She is a love bug with a fun personality and can build a great relationship with a furry friend, kids and adults. Her incredibly unique appearance makes people stop to say hello and get to know her, as she is just a sweetheart. Children just adore her. 😍

💗Lovely girl is the perfect size, not too big and not too small and has a great balanced energy about her. Sola is pretty mellow, she’s not very hyper or jumping off the walls with energy but if you wanted to go on a mini hike in the mountains or brisk walk around the neighboorhood or park she can certainly keep up. She can match whatever energy you need her to within reason. She doesn’t seem like the marathon running partner type. She walks great on leash which will make adventures with Sola that much more enjoyable.🌸🐾

Despite her chill but yet playful nature, this tiny little girl also possesses a gentle and affectionate side. She adores human companionship and craves attention, making her an ideal addition to a family that can provide plenty of love and interaction. Smart girl is eager to learn and is already showing signs of intelligence and a willingness to please. Sola loves car rides and go to shopping! She is very coachable and potty trained! Super food and treats motivated which makes training with Sola so much easier! Sure, Sola might still be getting the hang of this whole "crate life" thing, but hey, who can blame her? With all the excitement and adventures waiting to be had, it's no wonder she's taking her time to adjust. With a little love, patience, and maybe a tasty treat or two, Sola is well on her way to becoming a crate-training pro. With consistent training and positive reinforcement, she will grow into a well-behaved and obedient companion.🐶 So if you're looking for a furry friend who's not afraid to embrace new challenges and learn at her own pace, Sola is your go-to pal. Get ready for endless cuddles, playtime, and of course, plenty of adorable puppy antics! With her gentle nature and affectionate personality, she's sure to win over hearts wherever she goes. 🥰

Sweet pup is in good health and has received her initial vaccinations. As she grows, she will require regular veterinary check-ups, vaccinations, and proper nutrition to ensure she thrives physically and mentally. As a Siberian Husky, Sola will require an active lifestyle to meet her exercise needs. Daily walks or runs, interactive playtime, and mental stimulation are vital to Sola’s well-being. It's important to note that huskies are known for their independent nature, so patience and understanding are essential when training Sola.💖
We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy.

Please consider providing Sweet Sola with the love and care he deserves. Adopting a puppy is a long-term commitment, but the rewards are immeasurable. Contact us today to arrange an interview for Sola and begin the process of welcoming her into your home.🐶😍

Why adopt from Three Little Pitties?

The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it!

Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!

It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks:

• 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.)
• A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week)
• One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan
• 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan
• Coupons for a fun visit to Petco
• Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup!

We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
