Meet Murray! Born August, 2021
Murray came from a home where he was ignored and abused by other pets. It took him a little while to get comfortable and feel safe. Now he sleeps out in the open, he doesn't hide anymore. Murray likes to play with toys and watch what's going on outside. He loves cuddles and purrs like a mac truck. This cat is overweight and is three pounds away from his goal weight. Murray needs a home where he can be around you and receive the attention he really needs. Murray is a gentle giant who is good with other calm cats and even allows kittens to climb over him.

Tender Loving Cats is a foster based rescue, we require that you apply and be an approved applicant before meeting the cat/kitten(s) in foster homes. We also have some of our cat/kitten(s) currently up for adoption that you can meet at our PetSmart Charities Adoption Centers located at 1208 Deer Park Ave, N. Babylon, NY & 535 Montauk Hwy, W. Babylon, NY. We have volunteers there Mon-Sat 9-11am & 6-8pm Sunday 9-11am & 4-6pm. The location of each cat/kitten is written in their description on PetFinder. At this time, potential adopters can meet our adoptable cat/kitten(s) at our PetSmart Adoption Center locations by appointment ONLY. To make an appointment a potential adopter should email meetthekitties@tenderlovingcats.org or leave us a message on the volunteer hotline at 1-866-458-8228(ILUVCATS) Ext 1.
