This helps Speak! Rescue and Sanctuary with pet care costs.
Makita doesn’t want to miss anything. She needs to know what’s happening where and when she can be a part of it. This cute Australian shepherd puppy follows her humans everywhere and, if they’re busy, will run around playing chase with her dog buddies.
Makita is incredibly smart and loves a good challenge. She is hearing impaired so is learning hand signals. She is working on “sit” and we’re pretty convinced she’ll be an all-star at whatever she tries.
Makita is doing great at potty training. She’s working on crate time, but would always rather be where the action is. She has so much personality for such a tiny, little pup. It’s so much fun just to watch her enjoy the world.
Because puppies shouldn’t be left alone for long periods, Makita needs a home where someone is around much of the day. She requires a physical, fenced yard (no apartments). Extra points if you have herding dog experience. She’d be great with other friendly dogs or wouldn’t mind being the center of your world.
Makita is being fostered in the St. Louis area. She is one of a litter of five puppies and we will do our best to make the best possible match for each of the puppies.
