Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hey there, humans! The name's Whinny, and I'm here to grace your home with my fabulous presence. Now, let's get some facts straight right off the bat. I'm no ordinary feline; I've got style, I've got charm, and I've got a killer purr that'll melt even the iciest of hearts. Oh, and did I mention I'm already spayed and vaccinated? Yep, I'm the whole package, baby. But here's the deal-breaker for some of you: I'm declawed on my front paws. Yeah, yeah, I know what you're thinking. "Whinny, how could you let them do that to you?" Trust me, it wasn't my idea. When it comes to treats, ain't nobody got time for anything less than the best. That's why my favorite indulgence is none other than chicken temptations. Oh yeah, those tasty little morsels get me every time. Just try and resist the allure of that savory chicken flavor. I dare you. So, if you're looking for a feisty feline companion who's got sass for days and a whole lot of love to give, then look no further. I'm right here, ready to charm the whiskers off of you. Adoption papers, please!

Additional adoption info
We require an in-person application for all dogs and cats. A home visit will be required for larger dogs, who require a fenced in yard. Our animals are only adopted out after they have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Our adoption fees are $80 for cats and $110+ for dogs. Puppies are $130. Cash, check, credit or debit card are all accepted. Sometimes the fee will be higher for a dog, if it is a purebred. We would like to keep our adoptions local; in the event the adoption does not work out, the animal must come back to us. Adopters must sign an agreement to this effect. We do consider out of state adopters, please phone us before coming. We are a private shelter run mostly by volunteers. Please be patient if we take a little time to respond. Volunteers check emails and respond to phone calls.
Those adopting a cat must bring a carrier to transport the cat home safely.
