Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Ellie!!
Meet Ellie, the adventurous Blue Heeler! At just over a year old and 37 pounds, Ellie is a bundle of energy and joy. She's the perfect playmate in the yard and adores the company of dogs, cats, and children alike. But her favorite pastime? Snuggling up with her favorite human! While she's a bit of a mischief-maker with her occasional counter surfing, Ellie more than makes up for it with her obedience skills. She's mastered commands like sitting and coming when called, and she's always eager to learn more, especially if treats are involved! Plus, she's a pro at kennel, potty, and leash training, making her the ideal adventure buddy. In her kennel, she's remarkably quiet and content, ready for whatever exciting escapade comes her way!
Ellie is up to date on vaccines, spayed, on HW negative and on prevention and microchipped!
If you are living in a condo or apt and have weight restrictions on pets please be aware that we can not guarantee adult size!
Ellie is currently in TN but will be transported north to New England for adoption. The adoption donation is $450 which includes a health certificate and costs for the transport north.
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please go to www.angelsamongusanimalrescue.org and fill out an online adoption application. Thank you!
*Please note that while we do our best to accurately state the breed or breed mix of a dog, we often have very limited information to draw from. Identifying the breed without pedigrees and information on heritage can be very challenging!
Massachusett's Residents: Effective September 28, 2017 a Quarantine Fee of $100 will be required (in addition to the adoption fee) to adopt a dog that has been Quarantined. Massachusetts mandates that all dogs entering MA shall be quarantined for 48 hours in a state approved facility.

More about this rescue
Angels Among Us Animal Rescue - HTCASA is a 501c3 group and was founded in July 2011. We are a group of women and men who love animals and rescue animals from high kill shelters. These animals are surrendered by their families or picked up as stray animals. We rescue dogs and give them the second chance they deserve. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, dewormed, heartworm tested and treated if they are positive. We work very hard trying to find these babies their "furever" homes that they deserve.
