My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB 5-Dec-2023

Tater Tot is being fostered at one of Toronto Cat Rescue’s pet store partner locations. Please note that if you’re approved to adopt, you’ll need to pick them up from the store within 24 hours of being approved.

At first, we thought Tater Tot was a bit stand offish, as she didn't rush in for attention like her litter mates, but no she bides her time for the right moment. Tater Tot is super smart, somewhat independent and knows what she wants and then asks for it.

Tater's independence in no way means that she rules out being held firmly to your chest and stroked under her chin or around her ears. She loves it! She loves to chase poms, springs, twigs and any string type game with you or her litter mates. If Tater is in the mood for dry food and not wet, she will meow to let you know.

Tater has only been with us for a short time but shows real signs of being highly trainable. She understands her name and accepts a cue that indicates time for her special game. I wonder what things you can teach her.

Tater is super mushy, turning inside out, when she first wakes up and purrs like a motorboat. When up and about Tater is less keen to be approached with hands from face on, however is easy to be picked up if approached from the side.

A beautiful kitten inside and out. May need a bit time for Tater to trust you. Prefers her wet food not cold and mixed with a bit of warm water.

When in the mood loves to be held close across your chest with good support and her ears rubbed and scratched forever. Tater has a beautiful classic shape and is going to be a stunner of a cat.
