My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

George is a handsome long haired gray neutered and vaccinated male. He has the most perfect grumpy face and the biggest fluffiest tail. George came into our rescue along with 21 other cats that were abandoned in plastic totes on the side of the road on Christmas Eve. He was really malnourished and needed extra care for the last 4 months but now he has a clean bill of health! He is so sweet and loves to be loved on. He loves people and wants to always be lying near them or on their lap. He loves boxes and carrying balls around in his mouth like a dog. He loves to play chase with his kitty companions and is often found grooming them and napping with them. He is obsessed with Churu treats. He took some time to come out of his shell after we rescued him but now he is very social and even loves kids.

More about this rescue

Our program was developed to help save the cats of Henderson County, Texas. We provide Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR) services as it is the only proven humane approach to stabilizing community cat populations. TNVR improves the lives of cats as well as reduces shelter intakes, non-medical euthanasia, and citizen complaints. We also foster and provide medical care to friendly cats we find and help them find homes!
