My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Aiden! I'm quite the character, always up for a laugh with my goofy antics. I've been told I'm smart, too. I'm always eager to learn new tricks. I love playing, whether it's fetch or tug-of-war, but I'm also just as happy to chill out and show off my friendly side. I'm loyal to my core, and once we're friends, we're friends for life. If you're looking for a playful, smart, and loyal companion, I'm your guy. I promise to fill your days with laughter and love. Adopt me, and let's start our adventure together!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1971 as the Animal Aid Society of Englewood, Suncoast Humane Society began with a few cages where people left stray animals to be cared for. Over the years, our service area has grown to include over 400 square miles, covering three counties: Sarasota, Charlotte and portions of Lee.
Suncoast Humane Society provides a safe refuge for thousands of lost, abandoned and abused animals from our service area each year. We are committed to our open-door policy of never turning any animal away, regardless of health, temperament, breed or circumstances.
