Meet Brandon! He is a 2 yr old neutered male Pitbull Terrier mix that weighs 58lbs. He came into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 4/27 as a stray. This handsome boy has such a cute smile and ears that stand up and add to his character! He does walk strongly on a leash so additional training would be a good idea. He is treat driven and sometimes he gets a bit excited when receiving them. So we are working with them to take them gently. He does enjoy being petted, yet his favorite thing during our session has been having a watchful eye on what's happening outside in the shelter yard and in front of the building. He enjoys following along with me as we walk about, enjoying his human companions. Walking past other dogs he didn't show much interest in them but its always best if there will be another dog in the home to ask the shelter for a dog test. He is hopeful his stay at the shelter will be a short one, so he will have his own loving family where he plays in the back yard, but lives indoors where he can cuddle close on the couch or snoring the nights away on his own puppy bed. If you can offer this great boy this, please come meet him!
