The foster has passed on some wonderful information that we'd like to share with you!

"She is incredibly curious, loves to be around people and when comfortable she is very playful and puppy like! Sirius is very sweet and mellow. and enjoys lots of smelling during walks. She is very expressive and has good receptive skills, she can sit, do paw and when reminded she is able to stay and wait. Sirius does not mind sleeping or spending time in the crate while a person is in the room. We have been working on reinforcing calm behavior in the crate and sitting in it with the door open. Sirius is so smart and overall, a great dog."

Visit the shelter during regular business hours. If the pet is listed as "in foster", please contact the foster at the email provided.

2.
Submit Application

If you would like to adopt after meeting the animal, the foster or staff member will give you a link to an online application.

3.
Approve Application

One of our adoptions counselors will contact you to go over the pet’s medical history, personality information, and answer any questions.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Finalize adoption paperwork & pay adoption fee.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Schedule a time to pick up the pet at the shelter.
