Looking for a low-key cuddle buddy? Look no further! Amarillo is a sweet 13-year-old pup who weighs in at a petite 13 pounds. He's a total sweetheart with people and seems unfazed by other dogs (even greeted by an off-leash pup yesterday with zero drama!).

Easygoing: Very quiet, enjoys car rides, and knows the basic command "sit!"
Housebroken: Completely house-trained and crate-trained, making him a breeze to care for.
Low-energy: Prefers a calm and relaxed environment.

We have many wonderful pets waiting to be adopted! Adoption fees are $85 for dogs and $65 for cats (Dogs over 5 years old, $40). The adoption fee to persons over 55 years old is $40. Adoptions includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, heartworm test, fecal test, and Feline Leukemia/FIV test for cats.

Managed by LifeLine Animal Project, DeKalb County Animal Services provides a humane environment for DeKalb County’s homeless pets. We also provide other services such as veterinary care for our animals including spay/neuter surgeries, pet adoptions, pet reclaims, volunteer programs, foster home programs, rescue group coordination, and other lifesaving programs.
