My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Scooter is a five year old terrier-chihuahua mix male dog. He was neglected for a very long time and is cautious about humans. However, he is very sweet and highly motivated with food. Since being in his foster home, Scooter is learning to trust people. His adoptive family would need to be patient and expect that it will take time for him to be comfortable in a new environment. Scooter would do best in a home with other dogs (as he absolutely adores them) and he is also potty trained. If you are interested in meeting Scooter, please submit your adoption application.

A volunteer with contact you via either email, text or phone within 48 hours of application. We are 100% volunteer. Please be patient.

A video or in person home visit maybe required for all adoptions.

Meet the Pet

Meet the pet in an outdoor location. We do not have a shelter.

Additional adoption info

Upon approval of application at epicanaimalrescue.org, adoption costs are $250 for dogs up to one year, $200 one year to five years, and $150 for seniors. Approved application and adoption contract are required. Home visit is required.

Mission Statement

Epic Animal Rescue is dedicated to saving the homeless and abandoned animals of Texas. We will provide a safe haven for these animals while providing food, shelter and all veterinary needs while in our care while we search for their forever adoptive homes. Our team is dedicated to the welfare of all animals and will provide educational support to the general public regarding the need for neuter, adequate vaccination and lifelong vet care of companion animals.
