My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ellie is a 2 year old female Shepherd mix with a reddish and gold coloration. She is a shy girl that takes some time to get to know people. Ellie tends to feel more comfortable with women. Once she gets to know people, she demonstrates her love and you can tell which person is her favorite. As time passes, Ellie becomes more comfortable around strangers. Ellie has a calm personality. She is potty and crate trained and walks well on a leash. Ellie likes some, but not all dogs. It would probably be best if she were in an only dog household.

*All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*
