My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Clover is a 2 year old Border Collie and possibly Corgi mix that was saved from a rural pound. He is about 42lbs. He is a very sweet boy, affectionate and friendly with everyone. Is good with other dogs and loves to play. He has lived with cats and dogs of all sizes. He is good on a leash and loves to run. House trained and doggy door trained. He is heartworm positive and has started treatment for this. A rescue is sponsoring his treatment for heartworm, so treatment is covered if he stays within Tucson or Phoenix area. Heartworm takes a few months to treat and is not contagious. The reason he needs rehoming is that he is a bit of an escape artist and can jump the 5ft wall at the foster home. He will run around the neighborhood for a while then return home. Obviously not a safe option for Clover. He is looking for a home with a more secure yard, no doggy door or at least a home where people can supervise him the whole time he is outside.
