Cody is a Yorkshire Terrier/Poodle mix, weighing about 9 lbs. He is fully vetted including 3-year rabies, distemper, and Lyme and is on preventives. Cody is a very young 10 year old who acts half his age. He prefers to be the only dog in the home so he can have all the attention possible, but he gets along fine with other dogs and cats. He will need someone to be home most of the time. He loves to go for walks and is excellent on a leash. He is ready for a good lap to cuddle on. He is a very loving little guy and wants nothing more than to share his life with someone who has the time to be his buddy. He needs someone he can tell all his secrets to. If you’re a mature person who would like a buddy to take walks with and cuddles on the couch Cody is the guy for you. If you’re interested in adopting Cody please visit our site gertiessmalldogrescue.org to submit an application. If you have questions about Cody please contact his Foster Mom Julie juliebordeau1966@gmail.com

Gerties Small Dog Rescue, Inc is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization devoted to rescuing and small breed dogs under 20 pounds who have been neglected, abused and thrown away. We have over 15 years of experience in the use of positive reinforcement to overcome any issues our fosters come to us with. We provide a loving Foster home, vet care and training to give these little wonders the confidence they need to become a loving member of a family. Through an adoption process, we find them forever homes and a family to call their own. We are a small organization made up of volunteers who have a deep love for dogs and a desire to help as many of them as possible.
