Hunny is the sweetest gentle girl 🌸 she is a 5 month old Australian kelpie mix who can’t wait to find her family. She has a gentleness about her, when she first meets people she wiggles because her tail is wagging so much. Hunny will lean into you for extra cuddles. She is great with other dogs, playing and exploring the outdoors. She is outgoing with everyone she meets and loves children. Her foster says she is a dream and would be an amazing addition to any home

Hunny is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped.

Review application, set time for phone interview

Vet references and personal references verified, verify home ownership or rental and ability to adopt

Home Check

Virtual or in person

Approve Application

Send out approval with information on canine, need to electronically sign. Adoption agreement. Review all aspects of the adoption agreeement

5.
Pay Fee

Adoption donation accepted, welcome letter emailed with educational information to welcome your new dog home. Transport arranged

6.
Take the Pet Home

Adopters receive all vetting documentation and a welcome home goodie bag for new fur friend

Northbound Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting primarily independent rescuers in rural North Western Mississippi. With many of these communities battling overpopulation, low local adoption rates and climbing medical bills, Northbound Rescue forms a partnership with these rescuers to assist them with medical care, fundraising, transport and rescue efforts in the Northeast.
