My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Mucho!!

Mucho is a AMAZING guy that found himself in a CA shelter. His temperament is so AMAZING they reached out to ask us if we could take him and of course we said yes!

He was neutered and transferred down to S CA for transport and 2 days later showed signs of parvo. It really sucks when a AMAZING dog that is a yr old gets parvo it means prior owners couldn’t be bothered to do the puppy series vaccines. The shelter did there set but he wasn’t there long enough to get a second set.

We were not prepared for that and he wasn’t even in AZ yet where we have resources and a vet we could get a discount with.
Gina from the shelter put his treatment on her discover card because she believed in him that much. She spent well over 5000. To get him over this virus.

We now have Mucho here he is still on hold as after parvo they shed the virus for 2 weeks so he is in foster with no other dogs to make sure we don’t pass it to anyone else.

What you should know about Mucho
Mucho has a LOT of Love ❤️ from the people who helped save him and feel he is a dreamy sweet marshmallow.

Dog friendly - yes he is and due to breed would be best with a female large breed.

Human friendly- Yes ! He is such a love and dealt with the horrible virus and came though it like a champ.

Kids- unknown but would suggest older then 5 yrs

Leash - very easy on a leash

Crate trained- unknown but travels well in a crate and seems like he has been crated before. I would say yes or wouid be easy to crate train.

He loves to cuddle

Very affectionate

Just a nice boy

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The first step in the adoption process is to have an application filled out so we can better help match a dog to a home and family. You can fill out the application on our website at www.azmastiffrescue.com
The second step is to do a phone interview or email so we can discuss our dogs and what type of home they would do best in.
The third step is to have the adopter meet our dogs and adopt after a home visit is done.

Please Go To www.AZMASTIFFRESCUE.COM to fillout the adoption application so a volunteer can call you.

More about this rescue

We are a group of volunteers dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of the English Mastiff and Neapolitan Mastiffs.

Our Mission Statement

Canine Rescue Coalition, Inc. d.b.a AZ Mastiff Rescue is dedicated to Neapolitan Mastiffs and English Mastiffs and other Mastiff breeds. We are dedicated to restoring the mastiffs to good health, and finding them loving, permanent homes. We encourage community involvement, which includes raising funds to support our cause, and educating on the rewards of responsible pet ownership, and the importance of spaying and neutering. We want to implement an outreach program targeting children, the next generation. We hope to instill our firm belief that companion animals play an immeasurable role in the betterment of our lives. In order to achieve these goals, we believe that collaboration with other organizations will help us meet our mission.

We are a small rescue that focuses on the Neapolitan and English Mastiff. Most of our dogs are in foster homes in Az. We are always looking for foster homes and people who can help with home visits as well.We have rescued mastiffs for about 10 plus yrs now and enjoy helping them get into forever loving homes.
