My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are lucky enought to bring this really good boy into your family, you have truly hit the best friend lottery.  Fredward "Fred" is a big guy with the heart to match.  He is loving, loyal and energetic and would lik nothing more than to put all 97 pounds of himself on your lap.  This gentle giant came to his foster family after he was found wandering their neighborhood in severly neglected shape.  He acclimated to his new enviroment quickly, including another dog and two cats.  He loves human company and attention.  He is always happy- whether he's getting tummy rubs, playing with a pal or chewing on one of his toys.  A DNA test shows his primary breed is a cattle dog, mixed with nine other breeds including Great Pyrenees, hence his good looks.  Since he is a big boy and has a significant amount of herding DNA, he needs a big space to run to be his happiest.  If you have a heart for big loving dogs, he's your guy!

Go meet their pets

We have many events in the Central Arkansas area! And if you are not in the Central Arkansas area, we are more than happy to send you videos and flood you with photos of your pup. :) We operate in New England as well, and typically are there for 4-5 days out of the month. Also, please speak to the foster parent to find out anything you'd like to know. We are more than happy to connect you!

More about this rescue

Our goal is to educate the public on spaying/neutering their pets, as well as to advocate/provide safe temporary homes for displaced, neglected, or abused animals. We rehabilitate, vet, and place in permanent homes, as well as offering transport to the New England area.
