My story

My name is Bandi and I am so excited you stopped to look at me!

I found myself in quite the pickle before finally landing safe with the rescue. I got stuck on a major highway in San Antonio frozen in fear and to afraid to try and dodge the oncoming cars to get to safety. I was so grateful when someone finally saw my head poked up trying to hide behind a concrete slab and she stopped and sat with me for THREE HOURS waiting for help to come. Once I was safe, all I wanted to do was cuddle up to her and the other rescuers. I was so grateful to be safe. And ever since things just keep getting better and better. I have met so many fur friends that love to play with me. Now all there is left to do is wait patiently and look as cute as possible until someone finally wants to give me my forever home. I promise I will be the best "good girl" you will have ever! Just let me prove it to you!

Submit Application

Submit foster application if you only wish to foster, and an adoption application if you wish to adopt or foster with the intent of adoption

Meet the Pet

After your app is submitted, we will reach out to have a conversation and schedule a time for you to meet the pet

3.
Approve Application

If you decide to move forward after the meet and greet we will officially approve your application

4.
Take the Pet Home

After your app is approved, we will complete foster or adoption paperwork and you will take the pet home

Additional adoption info

We offer foster-to-adopt period of 2 weeks before finalizing the adoption to ensure that the animal is the right fit for you.
