My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peanut was adopted from the Love Train. This is a very gut wrenching decision. I am the caretaker for my elderly mother. She is going through end of life care. I don’t have time to devote to Peanut. Peanut was born in May 2023. She is 11 months old. She rarely barks, is high energy, and very loving. She went to Off Leash dog training. I don’t have the time or emotional resources to enforce her training right now.

She loves to be outside, loves going for walks. She would do better with a family that has time for physical activities.

Cons: because she doesn’t bark, you have to watch her for clues as to when she wants to go outside. She loves to steal tissue to eat. She has some separation anxiety when left alone. I crate her and she has been prescribed medication for it.

She is still a puppy who loves to play. She normally sleeps with me, but has been known to take over the couch is I am too restless.

I don’t know what else to do to give her the life she deserves.
