My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Maisie, a cute, adorable, cuddly and very people- oriented 1 year old tortie. Maisie was found all alone on the freeway. Her rescuer easily picked her up and popped her into a carrier. She will be a wonderful addition to any home. She is super affectionate and sociable. Maisie is also an emotional support cat with healing powers ---she is best friends and bonded with Ellie who went through a traumatic fire experience and adores and trusts Maisie. They became instant friends when Ellie was introduced. They can always be found cuddled together.
She gets along well with other cats but has not been introduced to dogs or children. She is currently eating Costco Kirkland brand wet pate and Kirkland dry food and she loves Churo type treats.

More about this shelter

At Darbster Rescue, our goal is to place kittens, cats, and dogs with great, forever homes in New England. The pets are primarily from South Florida and other southern states where the euthanasia rates are very high. Our shelters are in New Hampshire which has a strong demand for pets relative to supply and where shelters like ours are strictly no kill operations. Our animals will go to their new homes spayed or neutered, UTD on shots and a clean bill of health from FL and NH. We are here to help everyone look for the perfect match for themselves and their family.
