Meet Copper, the adorable 2 year old, 18 pound Miniature Schnoodle available for adoption! He did come from a puppy mill, so he will need another dog in the home to show him the ropes and a fenced yard as he is not accepting of a leash yet. Copper is shy with humans, so patience is a must, but he is smart! He picks up on the routine quickly. He is brave with his new lease on life and enjoying life as a house dog. Copper is learning housetraining, is crate trained, rides well in a car, and loves treats. Each day he comes around more, and with time, he will be a wonderful companion for his new family. To adopt Copper, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. The $350 adoption donation ($250 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, microchip, bloodwork, neuter, and all the love you can handle!

A thorough application of questions is completed by all potential adopters.

Interview

We have a standard telephone interview that is conducted after an applicant passes our vet reference.

3.
Home Check

Homes are checked by an approved volunteer for safety, cleanliness, and ability to care for the new pet.

Additional adoption info

We do require all potential adopters to pass a vet reference. The applicant must have all current pets spayed or neutered, consistent vaccinations and yearly exams, as well as yearly heart worm prevention

Peace Love and Poms Rescue is not a shelter environment. All our dogs are placed in loving foster homes where they are treated like family until a forever home is found. This means all approved applicants will need to make an appointment with the foster pawrents to meet their potential new pet.
