Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Birch! Birch is a young, 8mo old siamese cat with a lot of spunk and energy to go around! He keeps staff and guests entertained with his goofy antics, and loves to play with his friend Bellamy!
Birch and Bellamy came to us from a concerned citizen who was caring for a colony of 10+ stray cats. All had severe upper respiratory infections, and although they’ve been treated, checked for polyps, and tested negative for FHV, we believe they may have long lasting damage from the URIs. This means that although they no longer have a URI, they may still chronically sneeze and show symptoms. This does not necessarily mean they are contagious. In a home setting these symptoms can decrease considerably due to the lower stress environment. Birch and Bellamy would love to find a home together!
Bellamy’s adoption fee has been waived.
Birch’s adoption fee is $25.
To meet Birch in person please stop by the shelter on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday during our normal business hours. Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday doesn't work for you? To meet the animals any day of the week, please fill out an adoption application. Once your application is approved, we would be happy to make an appointment outside our normal business hours/days. To download an application, please visit our website at www.chippewahumane.com. Please call the shelter at (715)-861-5748 with any other questions.
