Crystal is ready for love! His past is a mystery. He was found by the good citizens of Sunnyside, Queens a few weeks ago, and police sent him to @nycacc. No one came to claim this sweet boy, but with the help of @rescuecity, we pulled him out, and now his future is filled with hope. Crystal (male) is 3-4 years old and weighs 50 lbs. For an adoption fee of $150 (thanks to generous sponsors), this sweet, calm, and resilient boy can light up your life with his gentle presence and heartwarming smile.
Crystal's Ideal Home :
Crystal, with his lovable demeanor and willingness to learn, is looking for a special home. While he is good with basic commands and making progress every day, he will benefit from some socialization training to help him become his best self around other dogs. He's an ideal companion for an adult-only household and would thrive as the only pet, where he can receive all the attention and love he deserves. He’s reserved at first, but with patience and a few days of adjustment, his joyful personality shines!
A Lifetime of Joy and Companionship Awaits :
Crystal’s perfect curly Jindo tail and endearing personality are sure to capture your heart. He’s not just a dog; he’s a friend waiting to share in life’s quiet moments and adventures with you! If you’re ready to open your heart and home to Crystal, he promises a lifetime of loyalty and affection.
Let’s help Crystal find the loving, forever home he's been waiting for. Could you be the hero in his story?
Crystal is available for a private meet-up. To do so, submit an application at koreank9rescue.org/adopt. The kind citizen who found him sponsored his adoption fee.

We rescue dogs from the Korean dog meat trade. We work in partnership with local and regional Korean dog rescues and high kill shelters. Many of our dogs come from the brutal dog meat trade and also puppy mill survivors. None of these dogs will get adopted in their homeland.
We work to end the dog meat trade in Korea where over 2.5 million dogs a year are tortured and slaughtered for consumption because of the belief that tortured dog meat gives medicinal benefits. We stand with the Korean animal activists and rescuers in Korea. A portion of the adoption fee goes back to these groups in Korea. Please email us at koreank9rescue@gmail.com for more information and follow us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/KoreanK9Rescue/
