My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Like the Energizer bunny, Daisy is a flower of a gal who keeps on ticking with her positive attitude and love for people and life in spite of less than ideal beginnings. Daisy came to Saving Grace with a significant wound down her back. While we have no information on how that happened, we know Daisy is a survivor with the love for life you can find in the best of survivors. Daisy is a young adult lab mix gal who weighs about 40 lbs full grown. Daisy might still have the scars of her past evident but she has moved on and is ready for a fabulous furever from here forth! Daisy has lots of great skills already including crate training, house training and she is also able to walk well on a leash. She has made doggo friends at the farm but would be happy to be your only doggo kid if that worked out as well. Daisy is smart, people focused and ready to show you how easily you will welcome her into your life. Come meet this gem of a girl and see how quickly happiness grows in a life full of Daisy.

Additional adoption info

All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccines, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member.

If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please complete an Adoption Application at our website: savinggracenc.org

Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption.

Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.

More about this rescue

Located in central North Carolina and officially established in 2004, Saving Grace has placed over 15,000 dogs into homes since its inception. These dogs were from rural animal control facilities with little resources and who would otherwise not had the opportunity to receive necessary veterinary care and a chance at adoption. While we have grown significantly over the years and have been successful growing our numbers we still see many great dogs miss the opportunity of adoption.

We have a large variety of dogs varying in breed, size, shape, age and needs and would love to work with you to find you a great dog companion while providing a dog in need with a loving home. Our dogs are chosen based on temperament and socialization. We get some of the most charming, unique mix breeds as well as some striking purebreds. Our dogs come from rural, underserved areas and while they may have little experience as an indoor family member, they have the temperament and personality that is sure to bring much love and appreciation to their new home. Most have started their crate training while in our program. Veterinary care including spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test, vaccinations, monthly preventatives are provided prior to each adoption. If you would like more information about adopting one of our dogs, please email savinggrace@savinggracenc.org
