My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HI - I'M LACEY! I was recently rescued from an overcrowded California shelter. I came in there a matted mess, and am still a work in progress. I was scared there, too, but am doing better now in a foster home, where I share my days with some doggy pals. My paperwork says I am 7 years old, but we really think I'm a bit older, maybe 10? I'm an easygoing girl, who would love to be pampered for once in my life as I was clearly neglected, likely stuck in a backyard someplace. I really love to be with my person. I'm in good health overall (may need a dental and have the start of cataracts, though), and I'm truly ready to start a new life. Can you adopt me? I weigh about 15 lbs.

Meet the Pet

After an initial interview, we work to set up a meet and greet with the new pet.

Additional adoption info

We work hard to match the right dog with the right person or people. Often people inquire about one dog, but end up adopting a different dog that is a better fit. We have many dogs to choose from and are able to successfully match people with their forever companions.

Go meet their pets

We do private meet-and-greets only.
