My name is Leia!

Hello, this is Leia! She is a very sweet cat who unfortunately has lost her owner. Her owner passed unexpectedly in February and her owner's sister and husband have tried their best to get Leia to integrate into their household. Leia loved her owner deeply and was extremely heartbroken by her sudden disappearance. She's about six years old and was acquired from Deb's Paws and Claws in the Yuba City area. She is spayed and had her shots when she was a kitten. In addition to the grief of losing her owner, Leia is a skittish cat with a lot of anxiety. Attempts to treat her anxiety have unfortunately exacerbated her distress.

Leia is slow to warm up and very sensitive. When she lived in her owner's room, she was a happy, affectionate companion who would snuggle into her human and sit in her lap. She gets along with gentle cats, but one of her problems here is she attracts bullying from aggressive cats. She requires a chill home without a lot of activity and commotion.
