Introducing GINGER - the sweet and gentle pup
With her soft ginger fur and gentle brown eyes, she's as cute as can be. Ginger has a sweet temperament and gentle disposition; she's sure to steal your heart in an instant. She is comfortable around other dogs, but very timid around people. She will require time and patience to come around. This lovely girl is house-trained, crate trained, and would thrive in a quiet home with a fenced yard where she can feel safe and secure. With patient and loving humans, Ginger will blossom into the perfect companion, bringing warmth and happiness to her new family's life. She is such a great girl, who is still learning about her surroundings and working on building her confidence. Loud noises and fast movements might still scare her and have her go into hiding but with the right person and a dog companion willing to train her, she will undoubtedly become her best self in no time.
Please Note:
*Must have a FENCED-IN yard!*
**No children under 12!**

More about this rescue
Somerset Cottage Poodle Rescue, established in 2013, is an all volunteer 501c(3) dog rescue funded by your donations. We rescue companion and senior dogs, at risk for euthanasia, from overcrowded shelters and provide them with the medical attention they need. We also redone dogs for owners who can no longer care for them. We do not have a facility so all of our dogs live in foster homes through out the Northern Virginia area until their adoption day. We are proud that we find them perfectly matched forever homes and families. We rescue and find permanent homes for approximately 250 dogs a year.
