We are an athletic breed, built to run and play! We are also a SMART breed and honestly, the smarter we are the more sensitive we are. And just super cute, so that is the TRIFECTA of characteristics, if you ask me :D
I am a great boy, found trying to save myself at a local gas station. The FUZZ came over and picked me up and drove me straight to the rescue, and the rescuers fell for me IMMEDIATELY!
So here I am, fully vetted and READY TO GO.
I am good with other dogs, I tend to be dominant so another playful and happy go lucky submissive dog is perfect for me. I am built to be a running partner or hiking partner or on the FIRE TRUCK with you..... whatever you want I can do!

Adoption counselor will email you to discuss the inquiry/application,and give more info about the pet, the foster and adoption process..

If you are approved to adopt, payments can be made on our website through PayPal, Debit Card or any major credit card.

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..
If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.

We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
