My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Rosie

Sex: Female

Estimated Age: About 2-3 years old

Best Guess for Breed: Mixed Breed Terrier Dog

Weight: About 40 lbs

Good With: Dogs and people. We haven’t seen her interact with kids yet, but if you have them please just let us know and we can test her out! She’s just a little toooo interested in kitties, so she’d do best in a home without cats.

Story: Rosie was rescued from a shelter in South Carolina. Rosie is a happy sweetie who loves people and gets along great with other dogs, and enjoys playing fetch. She knows just how to get comfortable up on the couch with her humans, and will love to join you on walks and trots around the neighborhood. Rosie is just looking for someone to be her new best furend and we know that she will repay them with endless amounts of love and tail wags. As a young dog, Rosie will need an adopter who is committed to setting her up for success by enrolling in obedience training and exercising her both mentally and physically. She will also need love, patience, and socialization in order to thrive!

What my foster says: Rosie is a magical dog that has clearly endured some rough times in her young life. This, however, has impacted her 0%. She is sweeter than sugar and wants nothing more than to love and be loved. She loves dogs, people, anyone with hands, and more dogs. She has the kind of wonderful energy level where she will walk and walk and walk if that’s what you want to do but she is also happy to do quick potty runs and just chill. She loves a good nap. She walks extremely well on leash and is unbothered by cars, bikes, trucks, etc. She is well out of the puppy stage so she’s able to be left alone without fear of chewing on anything and very literally she will just snooze. It is clear that she has been house trained as well. Rosie is truly an incredibly special dog and of all 25+ fosters I have had she may just be the easiest. She is great in the home, the car, you name it! She has acclimated to our home and schedule already and is just SO happy to be here! The tail never ever stops wagging. If you look at her, she wags. If you say anything towards her, she wags. If you even think about looking her direction, she wags. She is a magical dog!

If you think that Rosie might be your perfect match, apply today!
