Merida is a 3 year old 44% Australian Shepherd Mix, farm raised. She was rescued from an Amish family in PA that had too many dogs, at 10 weeks old. She was raised on two acres in farm country and roamed free frequently, mostly staying in the yard with an E collar on. She is very friendly and likes to greet people by putting her paws on them, but she can be trained not to do this, as I have trained her not to do it to me. She gets along well with other dogs and cats. She loves to run, jump, play fetch, and swim. She is very active and would thrive on a farm with or without livestock, and room to roam. She is partially leashed trained, and needs some work in that area. She is totally house trained and crate trained. All of her gear will go with her, crate, e-collar, and toys. I have to sell my house due to divorce and will be moving to a rental situation. There are many more living options without a pet. I am also finding it difficult to pay for her food and vet care now.
