Gets Along With: With proper integration, Cleopatra should get along with other cats, dogs, and kids. We are always happy to help with tips and tricks!

Currently Living at: DC area foster home.

I am Looking For: My forever home! Hi- I'm Cleopatra - a gorgeous girl looking for the best. I won’t ask for much...just some love, cuddles and a sunny place to nap. And maybe a few toys too!

What the Shelter Says About Me: Super-confident gal Cleopatra gets a lot of attention from the volunteers because she asks for it. She is completely adorable and begs for love all the time - earning favorite status among the volunteers. She will probably be easy to train to do tricks because she is food-motivated - almost like a dog. Just look at her pictures - posing in a basket! She got paid for that modeling gig. Cleopatra can also entertain herself. She plays with her toys and snuggles with her catnip 'baby'.

What My Foster Says About MeCleopatra is warming up to her new foster space, and feels more confident when we are in the room with her. She was very friendly with us from the get-go, and is really really sweet and loves to get pets all the time! She just needs some love and support from a caring family to help her come all the way out of her shell!

TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for adult cats will be $200 ($350 for two cats adopted together). The adoption fee for a kitten (under 7 months old) is $220 ($380 for two kittens adopted together). If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online at bit.ly/adoptaluckycat.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!

Go meet their pets

Our adoption events are held each weekend. A schedule of times and locations can be found at www.luckydoganimalrescue.org.
