Meet Lilly, the resilient senior with a heart of gold. At 14 years young, she likes a good nap but is still enjoys being active with her people. Unfortunately, she’s spending long hours alone now that the kids in her family have grown and her owner is working long hours. This has triggered some anxiety in Lilly and anxiety leads to chewing behaviors. She needs to stay in the kitchen when she’s alone (she doesn’t like being crated). She tolerates kitchen-time well as long as there’s nothing on the counters 😊. She would thrive with an owner who is home more frequently. She also loves other dogs and would enjoy a canine companion. She was just at the vet and received a clean bill of health! Lilly's capacity for love and companionship is unwavering.. Her owner is moving into an apartment and won’t be able to bring her along.
