My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ivy came to the rescue after several people made numerous calls to the local county sheriff office. Ivy had been tied to a tree for three days. She was tethered so close to the tree that she could hardly move. Ivy was tied to the tree during several days of heavy rain in South Texas. Ivy was finally surrendered to the rescue and enjoyed getting out of the rain and regular feeding. Ivy has done well on housetraining and can make it through the night without any accidents. She has a great disposition and gets along with all the dogs here at the rescue. Ivy enjoys being in the office while we work and especially enjoys it when she has a toy or a red barn hoof or Ecokind yak cheese. bones. Ivy is cat selective. She gets along with the house cat but wants to chase the outside cats.. Ivy 's adoption fee includes the cost of transport.

More about this rescue

Mission Statement:

To provide a safe environment for neglected or abused canines that need a place to rehabilitate or be in foster care until a permanent home can be established for them. To work with and assist like-minded animal assistance organizations and assist them with providing sanctuary and rehabilitation for canines until permanent homes can be established for them.

We started as a private rescue over 10 years ago and we are now a 501c3. Our goal is to help the homeless and neglected dogs in Texas and to do what we can to educate on the value of spay and neuter so the tragic loss of life of dogs and cats can be prevented.
