Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Simon is a sweet old man who loves his two daily walks. He was found abandoned on a city sidewalk in horrendous condition...full of open sores and scabs 😟 but is now healed and ready to find his furever home. Our vet estimates Simon to be approximately 8️⃣ years old.
Simon is working on his leash skills and enjoys a brisk walk at about 4 mph. This guy loves to walk! He gets along with other submissive dogs, Simon likes to feel in charge. If he should spy a cat, or another dog, on a walk he does bark and wants to go investigate. Cats are not on his "like" list.
Simon is an independent guy; he loves attention and belly rubs, when HE wants them. He is content to chill most of the time but does occasionally have a case of the zoomies. Simon likes to try and dash out the front door if given the chance as he loves to be outdoors. A backyard would suit him best as he likes to sunbathe 🌞. He does not typically jump up on furniture unless he's invited and is content to lay on the floor beside his humans. He does have an issue with regurgitation after drinking water, which is why his foster mom hydrates his food really well with bone broth. Simon does have a sensitive tummy which can result in loose 💩.
He's fed high quality food, plus probiotics, high protein toppers, and bone broth. This regime seems to minimize his digestive issues. Simon does have allergies and will need a Cytopoint injection to help control his itchy skin. He loves a good bath 🛁.
Simon is just your typical Frenchie!
Simon is crate trained, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. Simon is a sweet old guy and is so deserving of a loving home to live out his senior years. Want to meet this handsome 🥸 guy? All you have to do is submit an adoption application and we will make that happen!!
